Motivational Poster

The requirements for Motivational Poster:

A motivational poster has to include 6 layers. You have one for your manifesto and one for your personal manifesto. Also 4 layers of images that represent who you are and a portrait of your face. The design requirements are to do kerning on your letters across the whole page so that you don't see any white spaces. A triadic color scheme has to have a dominant color balanced by 2 colors. Also a visual balance is needed to equal weight of the elements of a artistic appeal.

I added my pictures first and put them where they fit and how they look. Next I added my text layer of my motivational quotes / personal manifesto. Then I went ahead and put the text layers in there spots and how the go with my pictures. My motivational poster is a little plain because I was rushing to finish my work to get it on time and tried to do my best on my quality work. Last I went ahead and put what I needed on it and saved it, and put it into our server file in our class.

My biggest challenge was getting my photos because I didn't have some on my phone or my GoPro it was on a camera at my moms BF's house and I don't go there till Thursday so I had to ask him for the pictures. The football was on my phone but my picture of my self was taken at school with a camera we borrowed from our GT class. The fishing poles and boogie boards were from my trip to Polihale, I toke pictures of my poles before I left to go Polihale and my boogie boards was at Polihale with my brother holding the boards from the back. But my motivational quotes / personal manifesto had me thinking for days, just so I can get it perfect and really touching. Everything in life is about taking a risk and having a fun time with family and friends.

Personal Manifesto

I'm a very athletic person because I like to through the football to my brother and/or play defense against him so he can get the drift on how football works. I love to fish because when you fish its about having fun not catching a fish every time you cast your pole out and I get to bond with my unko/stepdad. I work at the heliport sometimes with my unko/stepdad and him fix the helicopters. I love to body board at Polihale because of the big waves and sick barrels. I also like to ride bike and do tricks like bunny hop, pop wheely, do huge jumps off of ramps.

Life is life. Life is short so fill it to the fullest. don't worry about messing up in life

even if we have only one chance

so do what you can now than later

love your family and friends

do what you can for the now before this all ends

respect them then they will respect you back
laughter always changes the mood

It applys because Life is short so live it to the fullest. Because it will all end soon.

We are all contributing by helping each other and getting the project done and finished. We are all lipsyncing and dancing to help Steven become a better dancer and show off his new dance moves at a dance at school. We have been signing out cameras and recording scenes at home and other places. Our most important thing for us is our lipsync and the story to our music video. Zephen helps by bringing the camera down to the park and films me there lipsyncing my lines.

They will enjoy the parts that teach Steven to dance and how we all give a helping hand. Because Steven wants to dance to a song called "Watch Me" and wants to show off his dance moves and become the best dancer.
We all contributed by checking out the camera and being here at school to film shots and the music.
They will enjoy this who;e video because it is a awesome video and pretty creative.

We used Wide, Medium, Close shots because thats what our teacher Mr.Sanderl tought us this year. We also used some creative shots to make the video look great.

LYRICAL LIVELIHOOD

I don't have one favorite I have lots of favorite songs. I listen to watch me, See you again, GDRF, Trumpets, Talk dirty, Crank that, Sunshine girl, Rip tide, 24/7, Flick of that wrist, I don't mind, Go hard or go home. But the one I think is the best is GDRF because it has a good rhythm and beat.

My team picked "Watch Me" because we all agreed on and it was a popular song.

Our song didn't have a clear story so we had to make our own story. We came up with someone learning how to dance for a dance party. The story matches with the song because the person wants to learn to dance to the song and wants everyone to watch him dance to it.

Our story is about Steven moving to Hawaii from California, and meets a bully. Steven is shy on his first day of school. He meets a new friend named "Shanden" and later in the morning he meets a bully that bullies him and he goes on with his day and meets another friend named "Kaz". When Steven was going to the car pick up the bully picked on him and the bullies friends laugh. Then the bully pushes him to the ground and leaves him there then Kaz comes and helps him up.

It will teach people that it can take one or more people to tell a bully stop. In the video we have Steven coming to the school and being shy on his first day but he meets a friend named Shanden so then steven go to his class after he walks out and the bully and the bullies friend are laughing at him later he sees the bully again but this time the bully pushed Steven down and walked away so a boy named Kaz helped Steven up then he became Steven's friend

The best thing was when we all work to gether to make this video and the animations. The worst moment was when we never got to do voice overs and put songs in it.

A stop-motion animation is a bunch of pictures combined to make a short video. A GIF is a animation of things like a ball or a boat making a short video.

We are telling a story on steven because he just moved here from California and was shy when he first came to the school. You should care because there is problem solving because someone was bulling him and his new friends came and helped steven tell the bully to stop bulling people.

Typography Images

Typography is the art and technique of arranging type of making a written language and adjusting the space within letters pairs is a closely related craft. It can make people look like holograms because of the words and the colors it can also do shadows and midtones to make it look like this too.
The biggest chalenge was when i was trying to make the word brush it was complicated because you had to make it a certain way and a certain height. I looked back to the tutorial and followed his steps slowly and did it like he said to do.

Movie Trailer Critique

P3T1 Big Hero Six from Kapaa Middle School MEDIA on Vimeo

 Our project was on the movie Big Hero 6 my teammates and I argued for the name of the trailer our document was easy we just put the sceens and voice acting scripts on. I brought the bay max coustume but it is actullay a stay puff marshmellow coustume that we used as baymax and I also helped flim sceens of the fighting with hiro and Dr.Fried and pose at the end.
Some project requirements was haveing it to be 30-72 seconds long. Yes because webrought in coustumes for baymax.
I disagree that we did not have a great movie trailer but we started late on the trailer and with little time to do so we had to come in at recess and stay in during lunch to get it complete. I learned that we have to bring more attention and more action it was funny thoe.

Movie Poster Promo

You will see Bay max in front and the other 5 Hero's in like a V shape like the birds do when they are going to the south. In the poster they are going to be doing poses. They also look like they are going into action.

My title is say's BIG HERO and the 6 is on the bottom I'm going to make it awesome. Kerning is a way to make your letters look like it is in a fish bowl or what ever you want to do with your letters. You use it to make your poster amazing to the viewer.

I used kerning to my tittle Big Hero is in a normal style and my 6 has a red back ground effect on it (http://type.method.ac/#). You will also see the critics responses and the release date. The Hero's are lined up as Bay-Max (front) Gogo Tomago (back left). Honey Lemon (back right)  Hiro in the (back left) Wasbi in the (back right) Fred (back left).

Finished News Story

Our story is about the rebuilding of Coco Palms on the island of kauai that got devestated by Hurricane Iniki on September 11,1992. It contirbutes to the famous people who visited Coco Palms like The King in music (Elvis Preasly) and the film Blue Hawaii. Also the first Coco Palms that only had 28 rooms plus the tour directer Bob Jasper. Coco Palms is a really great tourisum atraction to the island of Kauai (Garden Island). The people who are in this video where asked to be interview.


The final turned out great but was not enough to be able to be put on Hikino, but congrats to Dilan and his project. I'am happy to be seeing the story but was not happy cause my team did not invite me or my friend Zephan to mettings and filming the news story.


The critique was great yes I do agree it was a good work of art too.
